Raku Ceramic Purses by Ann Webb

raku (rô-koo') n. A Japanese firing method of producing rich metallic finishes on blackened ceramic through the use of burning matter.

purse  (pûrs) n. 1. A small bag or pouch for carrying money.  2. A woman's pocketbook or handbag.  3. Anything that resembles a bag or pouch.    4. Available wealth or resources.   5. A sum of money offered as a prize.

This is a purse, unexpectedly of raku-fired ceramic.  It is hard glistening sculpture as well, unpredictably lined to caress your available wealth or resources.  It goes with everything!  Little black dress?  Klimt print?  It is a prize.
